Updating a varney dockside
This formation was ready for war at the end of the month.We have dined here several times before and always enjoyed it, but had not been for several years ...At which point an Arriva bus and the driver whom was travelling approximately 25/30mph through a heavily pedestrianised area went past.This area is not a "road" and the area is not well sign posted to state buses pass through, there are metal bollards with which the bus go between.When the war broke out on 3rd September 1939 the 23rd Army Field Regiment was stationed in England, with RHQ and two Batteries at Topsham Barracks, Exeter, and two Batteries at Bristol, having returned from India in 1935.Immediately on the declaration, the Regiment was mobilised on a two-Battery basis at Topsham, and very soon came under Command 3 Division.
I feel that the current range of shops is good but needs more well known brands to fill up the unoccupied units.
